Happy Holiday Season!

Sorry it's taken longer than expected to get new content out. I try my best to always give it my all, so hopefully my delivery comes across as genuine. I just need to do better with balancing my time wisely. You know the saying is, (and I'm a firm believer) "life is what happens to you when you are busy making other plans."

Do you ever stop to think about, your reality and what it is? What do you think/feel about yourself? Do you allow other's opinions of you to have a huge impact on what you think about yourself? It may seem a bit weird to do so, but it can actually take a toll on your subconscious. Self-judging can get the best of our emotions. Sometimes we naturally look to others to confirm if you did or did not do something right/wrong... It's pretty normal to vent and seek understanding from others you trust, but just remember that that's exactly all it should be - one outlet of your support system. Getting help or motivation from others is one way to strengthen your ability and build confidence. At the end of the day, do whatever you choose to for you, and not for them. It's your journey and you're the one who has to live with the results of your decision. We also need to be able to learn how to self-validate, become a part of your own support system. It's okay to need reminders to help reshape your inner voice. Take time to recognize and celebrate all the good things in your day. Praise how far you have come and where you are now! Just have a little compassion for yourself. Never ever compare yourself to what others are doing. For starters, we never know their whole (story) truth. Most vital, no one is you and that is your superpower. Creating more than you consume helps keep you focused on what really matters. There's absolute nothing wrong with being inspired by others, especially if you have a similar interest, skill... However, it's best to stay authentic and true to self. Yeah, not everyone will understand your journey and that's okay. I can't say it enough times, "It's your journey and you're the one who has to live with the results of your decision."

Remember, reminders are necessary to restore your confidence and acknowledge just how awesome you really are! The more you celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate. Have a wonderful weekend! I hope you enjoy the pics and comments are welcome.

Greetings to all & happy new month!

This is my favorite time of the year! With a new season slowly approaching, what are you wearing? If you're excited for Autumn weather, colors, festivities (eager to pack away summer) like myself and pull out jackets and boots...wait, hold up, it isn't quite that simple. Well at least not here in the South. Currently I am rotating between summer and fall with my wardrobe until the cooler climate settles in. Recently, I collaborated with SKIRTZ, a local and online boutique in Columbus, GA. I love that they have a large selection of styles to choose from. I was aiming for more of a sexy yet classy feel all at once by wearing the latex body-con & shirt dress. Both pieces speak volumes of my efforts and I'm pleased with the overall looks. Tweaking each fit with a little of my style personality made it fun. I'm a big fan of accessorizing and doing so allows you to express your individuality or mood while making the outfit your own.

Okay guys so as we shift seasons it's also vital to reevaluate our goals, motivation and our purpose in life. Sometimes we may be unaware of our normal. As you move outside of your comfort zone, what was once the unknown becomes your new normal. Do not be afraid to make decisions or mistakes. Continue to expand your horizons and break through your limits. Be eager to surpass your achievements that were once goals.

Without a doubt at times maintaining motivation can be challenging, but just remember you have control over your ultimate vision. Refocus on your initial passion and stay hungry for reaching new levels. Throughout your journey of bringing your passion to life you will hit a point of, "what's next?" It is your responsibility to feed your passion with good sources of inspiration. Being around others who think and move differently than you can challenge your ideas and keep you from being complacent. Complacency happens without notice. Check/redirect and renew your heart, mind and soul purpose on a daily.

Life is a game we all play, so look amazing and put on your best game face.

Good evening folks!

I attended and modeled for a fashion showcase at a networking mixer, "A Night on Bourbon Street" this past Sunday. I had the chance to jazz things up a bit. Of course I was instantly inspired by the theme and sparkling sequin dress provided to me by IKANDY FASHION & ACCESSORIESWhich encouraged me to have a little fun by stepping into character mode.

New Orleans is well known as the birth place of jazz music and I've always been a vintage fanatic. I can watch black/white (Turner Classic movie channel) movies all day and I have a super obsession for retro trends. Yes, all facts! Maybe now you can understand the dramatics behind my attire just a little bit better now. I decided to channel a 1920's "Flapper" look by highlighting my outfit with a perfect balance of accessories to modernize this elegant, edgy all in one look.

Women's liberation ruled this era and was in fact a major kick start to the beginning of a free-spirited fashion evolution of changing times ahead. Flappers symbolized physical freedom for women to express themselves, unlike their elders restricted form of fashion style. Their unconventional demeanor was making a bold statement through their physical showcasing.
